ORIGINAL STORY: An Aliens Vs. Predator multiplayer demo is set for release on Xbox Live, Steam and PSN TOMORROW, Sega's confirmed.
The multiplayer demo gives access to all three species - the Colonial Marine, the Predator and the Alien - and Deathmatch mode on Refinery, one of the game's multiplayer maps.
Jason Kingsley, CEO of Rebellion said of the demo: "Multiplayer was a huge part of our original AVP game back in 1999, and we've kept the spirit of that classic experience in creating the multiplayer for our new Aliens vs Predator. With the demo now gamers can get to grips with each of the three iconic species so they can hone their skills and be ready for when the game launches and battle commences."

Now if people only listened to me here. If been leaving comments on all the AVP news the past week saying a MP demo was out on thursday. AVPGalaxy got the inside scoop on it last week.
Try the demo of both. I can see the majority of people getting it on 360 and PS3, but the game will have legs on the PC if it turns out to be as good as the original is meant to be.
They mostly come at night,,, mostly. Which means when i gets home from work tomorrow this will take f**kin ages to download cause of every other bugger just getting in from work. Still, gonna be worth it. I've ordered the survivor edition for the 360 but i'll download both console versions to see if there's any difference.

Just do what I do when demo's are incoming ...
Turn your 360 on before you leave for work, and then just add it to the download queue from the LIVE website. If your 360 is on (and hasnt turned itself off by then) the download will start automatically. By the time you get home from work it should be done ...
What was truly awesome about AvP was singleplayer.
Please-oh-please let me enjoy some singleplayer greatness *without* having to contend with swearing teenagers with hissy fits and people just out to ruin my gaming experience.
Someone tell me there'll be Singleplayer in the final game!? About time someone made a good singleplayer shooter again, and AvP and AvP2 were truly outstanding.
I had heard whispers of a demo this week. Great game, been looking forward to it ever since it was announced. Played it at Eurogamer and it didn't dissapoint. Has to be my most anticipted game of 2010. Got my Survivor Edition on preorder, but until it arrives I'll be playing this demo for ages, using my wallcliming and incredible speed abilites to the max!

Of course there is Single player, check out some of the previews for more info. What I think is great about this game is it has both in equal measure, and if you don't want to hear the adolescent ramblings of some teenage pr** simply do what I do and mute everyone that isn't on your friends list. That way you can laugth at them while kicking their ass at the same time!
WHAT! MP only? BBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ive been dying for the demo for weeks and now they FINALLY! release it but no SP? i was relying on the demo to tell if its worth buying or not. no SP demo no purchase.
Has it crossed anybodys mind that this game could turn out to be a crushing dissapointment?
Yes unfortunately it has mine, especially since reading about their last game they developed. I know they have said this will be better but it still doesnt give me confidence that their last game was so bad!
