God of War 3 rated '18' in UK

The British Board Of Film Classification has slapped an '18' rating on God Of War 3 - as gamers gear up for its release next month.

In news to please gore fans, the game was passed with no cuts being made.

The submission reads: 'When submitted to the BBFC the linear elements within the work had a running time (eg. cut scenes) of 189m 45s.'

In addition, the BBFC has passed the God Of War Collection, which is also given an 18 rating.

The God Of War 3 release date is still not set in stone - but Sony is aiming for a release in the week the game hits the US, on March 16th.

Good news. When is GOW collection out in the UK? I heard they were planning a release seperate from the ultimate edition.

Modern warfare 2 is rated 18 but most of the people I meet online are about 8 or 9 years old.

I thought the BBFC had stopped rating games and that it was PEGI or whatever that would be rating games on their own from now on?

No brainer though since the first two games were rated 18 as well

Not sure whats happening to the collection I don't think sony are releasing it on its own or at least not until after gow3 is out I have ordered mine from cd wow just waiting for them to send it now.
