Here's a not so shiny high definition trailer of arcade racer Days of Thunder from Piranha Games.

Yesterday we treated you to seven screens from the game - inspired by the original 1990 Tom Cruise film - coming to PC, Xbox Live and the Playstation Network.

Here's your chance to see it action. The video showcases fully customisable cars, damage to the point of combustion and drafting: where players can slip in behind other cars and pick up speed before performing a 'sling shot' to take the lead.
