Mass Effect 2 is a "good opportunity" for non-360 owners to pick up a console, says BioWare boss Ray Muzyka.
Speaking to CVG in London this afternoon, the GM of EA's RPG/MMO group said BioWare intends for every one of its games to end up a system seller.
"It's the second highest-rated game on the platform, so it's probably a good opportunity if you don't have a system to look at getting one if you want a great experience," he said.
"I think every game we make we try to make a system seller. Because every game we build we strive for 90%+ quality.
"I've gotten a few notes from the folks at Microsoft and they've always been great partners with us as have money other groups," he added. "They seem quite delighted with how it's doing... a lot of them seem to enjoy playing it too which makes me happy."
"It's interesting to think about that. I would hope it would be a system seller."
Earlier this week we published our Mass Effect 2 review, awarding the sequel a plum 9.3. It's pretty good.

I doubt it, mass effect is more of an acquired taste. I tried really hard to love the first one, but the conversations got tedious and the story was too star treky for my taste. Gears of war sold the 360 to me - pure balls out action and guns with actual bullets, not plasma!
when i got my 360 i didnt no what mass effect was evem though it had been out for 6 omnths. anyway got it for £12.99 and throught it was one of the best games i had ever played. this morning received my copy of me2 1 day early and its awsome. loved the beginning. if they release on ps3 i will buy both on that to just love the complete package mass effect gives
I'm considering getting a 360 for it. I played the first one 3 times and love it. I think I'll hold on for a bit though, I just can't really see an EA published game staying an exclusive.

I played ME the first time on 360 but couldn't get into it. Then I played it again on PC and I was hooked. It's truly a brilliant game but I won't be buying the sequel until I finish it.

I must try and play the 1st one again and complete it only got 2 hours into it and got completely lost thats was when the game 1st came out because the 2nd one looks really good.
I couldn't get into ME1, I didn't enjoy the combat ande was overall unimpressed with the gameplay. However, im off to my local 24hr Asda tonight to pick up ME2! Only 3 hours to wait This looks really, really good!
been playing it all day (13hrs!!), just got to level 10 and am absolutely loving it, can see this being my GOTY, anything else thats coming out this year just wont stack up against this for me....

ME1 was a system seller as its the reason i got a 360! having shown some ME2 to ps3 owners who dont read the press all that much they are now considering trading in the ps3 for a 360!
