Sega has released a trailer for 'Survivor Mode' in its moody FPS, Alien vs Predator.
The mode gives players the gruelling task of taking on swarms of Aliens that not only attack in relentless waves, but get progressively stronger as you fight them. It's a bit like Gears' Horde and Halo's Firefight then.

Sure the whole thing looks like a thankless effort wrapped in inevitable doom, but, with the option of getting three of your mates involved, we're anticipating some Nazi Zombie-esque frantic team play and all the banter that goes with it.
If unparalleled stress doesn't appeal, there are plenty of other modes to get stuck into.
In 'Predator Hunt' the odds are stacked against one player who takes on the role of the stealthy Predator Hunter. The rest have to defend themselves as lowly Marine Prey or try and kill the hunter if they're feeling brave.
Give us an idea of your anticipation for this feast of entrails - it's due out on February 19.

Yeah there is, its at least a MP demo, unkown if there is SP yet. According to avpgalaxy the demo is out this thursday on 360, PS3 & PC via steam. Why is this trailer in russian or something?! The english one is over on gametrailers and the predator hunt trailer is on ign.

Love the Alien and Predator franchises, even with those p**s poor VS films. Plus i've had a quick shift throught the achievements and the Praetorian Alien's in there as well as a possible fight with a Pred-Alien so i have high hopes of different caste aliens (using different species for hosts breeds different traits).
But seriously as long as the aliens move, look and sound great then they've got my money. ( and since i've seen a few vid's of this in action i've already pre-ordered the survivor edition)
this mode looks f*ckin awesome, loved the horde and firefight but this looks like it'll properly have you on your toes and make you jump every now and then if it re-creates the atmosphere of the alien films!!!! cant wait for the demo, also got this on pre-order from shopto, i so want this to live up to my expectations as i loved the original on the pc.....
Predator Hunt mode was always my favourite but this mode looks pretty cool, and Nazi Zombies is my favourite multilayer game of the last couple of years so i'm really looking forward to the mulitplayer side of this game. The single player was better in the second game though than the first so hope rebellion have played it for inspiration.
Wow day one for me if this keeps up looking so good. Not bought a game in a few months either!
I think this will be pretty gripping though and I kind of thought although it should have been in english it was even more gripping and effective in Russian. Just a thought for the video!
Looks very fun indeed......I have been screaming for an AvsP game since the Xbox first came out. My wish has come true and this is my only must buy game until Aliens: Colonial Marines hits next year.
Although I did not care for the Spanish or whatever language the trailer was in, but it looks F*&king SWEET!!!!!!!!!!
I don't really play live all that much, but I will definitely get on live with this bad boy!
