Castle Crashers dev, The Behemoth has named its next project; the bonkers-looking 'BattleBlock Theater'.
"BattleBlock Theater is our upcoming third title for the Xbox Live Arcade," The developer says on its blog. "Website to follow in the next few days and as we inch closer to the release of the title we'll be unfolding more of the story online," it adds, the first bit of which follows below:
"Having shipwrecked on a mysterious island you find yourself both betrayed by your best friend Hatty and captured by the locals. All of this is happening while being forced into deadly performances. This however, is just the start of your problems."
At least its got a name now and has looked to explain the general premise. It looks fantastic, the first trailer they put out was hilariously epic.
I've been a big fan of Dan Paladins style since he first popped up and indeed since the Fulp created Newgrounds. Excited about this, these guys have great ideas. Can't wait.
