Lara Roberts used to weigh 18 stone, struggled to climb stairs and was embarrassed to have sex with her husband. A year later and she weighs 10 stone and, we guess, her husband sees a lot more bed action. Life is good, and it's all thanks to Wii Fit, apparently.
Lara, a 38-year-old mother, likened herself to a "beached whale", but now proudly boasts about walking around the house in her undies and hitting the clubs in heels, thanks to daily workouts with Nintendo's software.
Of course, it wasn't just the Wii that shaved off the weight. She used to chomp down more than 4,000 calories a day, including cooked brekkies, pizza, cheese sandwiches, crisps, cakes and "litres of fizzy drinks a day".

But that all stopped when a friend told her she "never stopped eating", according to News of the World. Harsh love, but clearly it works sometimes.
At least that friend didn't say: "You eat constantly, you fat cake-munching walrus. Put those freaking sour cream Pringles back in the cupboard and meet my friend Mr. vegetable." That might not have gone down quite so well.
Wow, cutting down on your calorie intake and doing some light exercise regularly will help you lose weight! Has anyone else realised? This could be the end of the worldwide obesity problem!
If that IS the same woman (which I'm dubious about), it's probably less healthy to lose that amount of weight in that short a time than it is to remain fat.
My girlfriend is a large woman, I'm not into heavy girls normally, I like them thin. it's just that she is the nicest person I've ever met and I love her to bits. She has just started going to weight watchers to get some help to lose weight. She also has a full time job and is always on the go. So I guess she just eats to much. I do hope she loses the weight as I'm worried about her health, and I know underneath the fat is a very very pretty girl as I've seen old pictures of her when she was slim.
All I ask is that people don't be nasty to heavy people, I see it all the time and it hurts. They cry a lot about their weight when no one is around. It's very hard to have no self esteem and feel like you can't help yourself. So be nice please, they don't want to be over weight.

I lost 4 stone in just over 3 months using Wii Fit (as well as cutting back on unhealthy food and doing additional exercise), and I'm certainly much happier, so my guessing is that she is happy.
