Kojima: Peace Walker delay "a crime"

Once you've announced a date, you must hit it says MGS man
Metal Gear mastermind, Hideo Kojima, has said that he believes the Japanese Peace Walker delay a nothing short of a crime.

Over the weekend we reported that Konami had delayed the Japanese release of Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker on PSP. The game was delayed to make a few 'final adjustments'.

This is clearly unacceptable. Speaking via his blog (thanks Andriasang), Kojima roared, "I always preach to the staff, 'You must not have a delay after a release date has been announced. There is no greater crime as a game developer'."

There are probably worse crimes out there but delaying your game is definitely one of them.

Kojima-san, please swap jobs with Kaz at Polyphony Digital before they start GT6.

Cheers.

So....does this make GT5's delay on par with a mass murder of orphans?

Haven't all past MGS come out late after their original release dates anyway or am I wrong on that one?

MGS4 was announced as June 12th worldwide and that's when it came out.

What? They only ever made one release date for March in Japan and that got changed to TBC. There was never a different release data ever set.
Clearly you have taken rumor as fact. Rolling Eyes

Actually it was delayed, a trailer in 2006 announced that game would be out in 2007... but it came out June 2008. Ironically the trailer joked 2008 at first then changed to 2007.
