Sony's PS3 'wand' is expected out this autumn (after being delayed from spring), and a report from Nikkei Newspaper in Japan says 10 games will support the device in 2010.
According to the report, titles will range from pet sims to sports, which sounds too much like the catalogue of a certain other console for our liking.

Sony itself has named several games that will get motion support including, as Kotaku notes, Ape Escape, Echochrome, Eccentric Slider, Sing and Draw, Champions of Time, Motion Party, The Shoot, Tower and Under Siege all due this year.
LittleBigPlanet and Resident Evil 5 Alternate Edition have also been shown using the new gadgets, although motion support in the western version of Resi 5 is uncertain.
We'd be happy to see even half of these out here before Christmas.
I am pretty sure they can patch games to be motion controlled, its all up to the Devs whether they want to do it or not. Personally Natal and Wand/Arc control schemes look way more accurate than the Wii mote and if implemented properly can really add to the immersion of games.
I must be honest and say that the article does not make my heart flutter. In fact, those games sound exactly like the stuff that I would avoid on the Wii.
The list is underwhelming, maybe a result of Sony not getting the dev kits out in a timely fashion. If this is indeed all that's coming out this year, I'll wait till 2011 and pick the Magic Wands up then, as long as the games are good.
Watched the E309 demo of this wand as id rather call it,and it looked impressive. If they priced them at about £25 then it would be worth getting 2 (loved the idea of the bow and arrow bit). but even then thats £50 before the PSeye so that makes it £75 before even a games purchased. Bit more than Natal but at least you wont need a 20ft squared empty living room/bedroom to use the wand. Like the idea of RTS but think Natal will manage it better in that genre.
Yes that list looks horrable. But you can bet that Sony has a few aces up their sleeve. They are not gonna show all their cards. I guess is at least a new Everybody's golf game (still the best and most fun golf game out there). And judging from what we saw at E3 something with swords and bows. Leave it to Sony to produce a few good exclusives.
I wonder if Heavy Rain will get Motion Sense, surely it would add to the interactive. I'm sure we'd all be waggling our wands quite furiously at some scenes... with or without Arc.
Unless Microsoft add a similar sort of control (or two!) to their Natal motion control system and Sony add an analog stick to the Arc (or again, a second controller with an analog stick) then both motion control solutions will fail miserably.
Sony already have a remote clone so why not go the whole hog and add a wireless nunchuck clone to go with it..?
Since designers have (finally!) gotten around to perfecting the controls for an FPS game on the Wii the same can be done for both the 360 and PS3 if Sony and Microsoft do the right thing.
If they don't then all you'll see are crappy fitness games and nothing else for the 360 and pointer based games that you're unable to move in...on-rails shooters anyone..?
Holding the Arc in one hand and a bog-standard DS3 controller in the other to move will be too cumbersome, the Resident Evil 5: Alternate Edition we saw at last years E3 really didn't look too clever.
