FIFA Online details revealed - screens

Free-to-play PC game going into beta soon
EA's officially announced FIFA Online, a free-to-play footy instalment for PC.

The game is said to be EA's attempt at bringing the footy franchise to a wider global audience - specifically those without hi-spec PCs.

"All the up-to-date teams and leagues," and "new features not seen elsewhere" are promised for the game, which despite utilising the FIFA 10 engine is promised to run on even average PCs and laptops.

Regular events - often linked to real matches - are promised as well as a control scheme entirely tailored to the mouse.

A closed beta test is due to kick off next month. So is that three FIFA games coming out this year then?

If it's as good as PGA Online, this could lure me back to football games.

Hmm.. does this mean they have given up making the FIFA series for PC, or does it mean that they FINALLY will do a proper job on the PC version(For those who have PC's newer than 2005).
