God of War 3 due March 19 in Europe?

While we're still waiting for an actual, official release date for Sony's God Of War 3, the publisher has said that it hopes to release it in the same week as the US launch, which should be March 19 according to our crystal ball and calendar.

"You may have read that the God of War III U.S. release date has been confirmed today as the 16th March 2010," said Thach Quach, (we did not make that up), senior European product manager SCEE.

"Whilst I can't confirm the exact date for PAL, I wanted to let you know say that we are aiming to release God of War III across PAL regions during the same week. I will confirm this as soon as I can so watch this space, the wait will be over soon."

We're still waiting but our bets are on the Friday after the US's Tuesday launch. We'll let you know when we do.

Thach says there'll also be a new trailer on Feb 11 to look out for. We're off now to change Andy's name by deed poll to Thach Robinson.

Yes, yes. I had only ever played Chains of Olympus on the PSP before but I am now going through GOWII from the GOW Collection. What an amazing game. Its better than the majority of games on this generation. Cant wait for GOWIII.

"GAIA" Screamed Kratos dramatically at the end of God of War 2 "GAIA". And Gaia came in all her glory. And now in God of War 3 we get to mount her huge curves and slide our way up and down thru her bush. Oh and we get Pandoras "ALL Giving" box. Said box will let loose alll the strife and ills of the world, but we know that only hope will be left at the bottom. Such is the stuff og greek legend. "GAIA...?" "GAIA...!"
