Bayonetta game director Hideki Kamiya has hinted as to what we could expect from a seemingly likely sequel.
"We obviously have love for the work we have created, so I don't see anything wrong with Bayonetta 2," Kamiya told Game Informer, following the astonishing critical success of PG's mental demon slayer.

But Kamiya wouldn't simply want to do more of the same. "Personally, I'd like to approach the world of Bayonetta from a different angle, in the form of a spin-off."
You should check out this Bayonetta review, if you haven't already.
I would like to see Sega pull their fingers out of their arseholes and make the PS3 version on par with the 360 version in the next game. It's just lazy and there's no excuse for it. You can't do shit like this after what Naughty Dog achieved with Uncharted 2. And how about not having to wait 10 seconds to access the bloody pause menu! Loading times just for pausing the game is a joke!

it is pretty shocking the ps3 version runs at 30FPS while the 360 one is at 60FPS, im waiting for my 360 pad to arrive then ill install bayonetta to 360 and play, have played a bit of the ps3 version
if the game was a ps3 only title it wouldnt of gotten the probs, but i guess some ps3 multiplats still suffer to this day not as much but its still thier
Loved Bayonetta on 360. Not sure if I would get a sequal though, as I think the gameplay would be very similar. I don't think the story will be good enough for me to for out another £40.
Also, now I have completed it, I'm not sure if I will ever go back to it. I will probably trade it in for Mass Effect 2.
ps3 can achieve better polished games then 360 (not necessary better)but the third party games always seem to be better on Xbox 360 with stuff like cod, Bayonetta and orange box which someone said was as bad as Bayonetta
Actually I think there's a lot of replay value. I've just started going back through the game to see how good I cen get trophy-wise (and unlock more outfits, sad I know). Just got a Pure Platinum overall for the first level on Normal. That took me an hour. I love Bayonetta so much - any kind of sequel will be a first-day purchase for me.
The PS3 version only suffered because PG didn't make it themselves, the laziness is on their part, although from what I've heard speculated on the net Sega wanted it on both systems $$$

How can you call Platinum Games lazy? Bayonetta was originally designed for the XBox in mind, not the PS3. They did not have the time nor resources to develop for both platforms when it was announced it was going multi-platform so they got Sega to do the PS3 conversion. You could blame Sega, but remember - the game was built around the 360's strengths, not the PS3.
