Rising Star Games has announced that it will be publishing Samurai Shodown Sen in Europe.
The latest instalment in the long-running series will be brought to our shores in Spring this year, having already been released in Japan late last year.
"The kudos the SNK series carries sits comfortably within our portfolio and fans of the sword-fighting series won't be disappointed; the 3D graphics simply must be seen," says Martin Defries, managing director, Rising Star Games.
And you can see them, in the attached screenshots. So have a look at them because remember, they simply must be seen! We're not sure what happens if you refuse...
Could never get into SNK fighting games, always compared them to SF2 and that always came out on top (in the same way i compare games like Saints Row to GTA). This does look good but with Super StreetFighter 4 coming in March, BlazBlue coming soon and Tekken 6 already out is there room for another basic beat-em-up. Look at what happened to the last King of Fighters, it just disappeared. Methinks this could follow the same route.
I have a Neo-Geo CD and of course, a few of teh SS games. Love 'em. 2 was the first one I got as it was the latest one when I got my machine at the time. They were 3 lanuages you could choose. Jap/Spanish/English. Spanish and English had green blood. Japanese version had red blood. Bet you can guess which language I selected
I still have my Neo-Geo and games to this day. I would be crazy to sell it!
According to the fan community it's a sub par Soul Calibur clone with PS2 standard graphics, yet another failure from SNK Playmore. They've got so little faith in it they haven't even bothered doing a Playstation 3 version.
