Sega has revealed some sweet pre-order-only packs for Alien Vs Predator (via a convoluted batch of emails).
First up is the Hunter Edition, which'll be exclusive to HMV, and includes the Alien Vs Predator game in steelbook packaging, a replica facehugger model, a code for four multiplayer maps - docks, outpost, machine & hive, the Weyland-Yutani material patch and a 3D lenticular postcard. That's £59.99.
Play-exclusive MP skin - SGT Kaneko
Second is the Survivor Edition, which comes packs the Alien Vs Predator game in a steelbook packaging along with the four multiplayer maps for £54.99. That's exclusive to Game.
And if you head over to Play and slap down your pre-order you'll get the game with a multiplayer character skin pack for £39.99.
Only £5 difference between the survivor and hunter edition, might as well get the hunter edition. The Americans get the first AVP comic book with their hunter edition though, why can't we get that too.
That facehugger model is going to give me nightmares though, I just know it.

That's the deal I'd go for too if I were going to buy this game. I still might but it will depend heavily upon certain reviews.
I dont understand the 4 maps bit. Are they bonus maps only available in those packs, or do you get them in every version?
Most probably will be locked to everyone who doesnt pre-order until a later date at which they will be sold/given to all, thats how this thing has worked before anyway.
Bit dissapointed with the play.com bonus skins. For the alien they should of had either the Predalien or the dog alien from Alien 3. The marine should of been either lieutenant Ripley or Corporal Burke. Not too sure about the Predator though, maybe one of the celtic Predators from Predator 2.
