Final Fantasy I and II coming to iPhone

Square Enix tarts up classics for mobile release
Final Fantasy One and Two have been confirmed for a release on iPhone, via Square Enix's Facebook page, which is so very 2010.

"Over 20 years since the original releases, Final Fantasy and Final Fantasy II are coming to iPhone / iPod touch," said the publisher via its Facebook page.

The company didn't offer a release date but said "stay tuned" for mroe info. Chances are the iPhone releases will be ports of the recently released PSP versions.

How much would you pay for an iPhone version of Final Fantasy I or II? Check out a few pics from the mobile versions below.

I think this will be the third time these two games have been remade/republished right? Ah well it'll be good for people who haven't played em yet.

It's more than that, mate. NES, PS1, Wonderswan Colour, GBA, PSP, iPhone and a previous mobile phone port each. Most remade games ever? Possibly.

On another note, I reported this hours ago! *Swipes head in pride*
