Saints Row, Red Faction developer at work again

'Secret Project X' shows up on their official site...
Volition Inc has begun work on a new game, which is known right now as Secret Project X.

Volition Inc's most recent game is Red Faction: Guerilla but the developers really made their name with the Saints Row games. Prior to that, they also worked on Summoner.

So what is Secret Project X? Volition Inc isn't giving the game away yet but if we were betting men, we'd say that it wasn't a new Saints Row or Red Faction game. Otherwise they would have come straight out with the announcement. It seems that Volition Inc is trying to build intrigue for a new IP instead...

Maybe it's a game that bridges Red Faction and Saint's Row lol. Funny that, what started as a homeage in the first SR became a major story staple and planted SR in the same universe as RF. Bizzare. It could be a new entry in the dormant Summoner franchise... "I cast a spell"

Please, PLEASE be Saints Row 3! I loved SR2 - for all its bugs, glitches and patchy graphics. However, the game itself was damn fun. It seemed like every possible joke or gimmick had been crammed in there and resulted in the SR2 we know today.
