PS3 played on the side of a pub!
Tuesday 12-Jan-2010 1:10 PM Viral video shows 'extreme' gaming as man projects NFS onto giant surfaces
Thought 'overhead' projectors were all about boring science lessons? Think again: A new online viral video shows they comes in very handy for 'extreme' gaming. The vid features a man with an Epson HD-ready projector strapped to his back. The game-for-a-laugh star then walks around London playing Need For Speed on his PS3 - projected onto buildings, roads and public houses in front of an amazed/bemused public. It's pretty darn smile-inducing stuff - see below for the proof.
the ironic thing is this video is so damn old and its put under the 'news' section. keep up the good work cvg
if it was 360, the disc would probably have been scratched useless. only possible on a ps3
if it was 360, the disc would probably have been scratched useless. only possible on a ps3 It's the only console you'd want on full display while you stand outside a pub with no risk of it getting stolen. BAM!

BAM! although a joke, you do realise it was a stupid one i hope. what thief would bypass the most expensive console?! people steal valuable stuff. that rules the 360 out... (justified) BAM!

Yes, it was a joke to mock another bad post. Of course it would get stolen, everyone's after bluray these days.
... or just a decent console it would be good if you could hang your ps3 on the wall, like plasma TVs. convenient and smart. could no-more-nails it.
My friend's housemate had a projector, we used to set it up in his garden with my wii and project Tiger Woods on it. Twas rather like playing on those fake driving ranges where you whack the ball into the image of a fairway. Definitely the best way to play a golf game.

He probably tried to take it inside but when the owners saw it was a PS3 they wouldn't let him in. Seriously though, does anyone else think he looks like a Ghostbuster?

It's not the prettiest solution but it works for me. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/HIDEit-3S-Mount-PS3-Slim-Wall-Mount_W0QQitemZ320433274942QQcmdZViewItemQQptZVideo_Games_Accessories?hash=item4a9b4fc03e
nice. though i wouldnt be hiding it behind a TV. have that beast on display.
that was awesome only possible on ps3 it only does everything
I hope he attempts the same things with a 360 just to see if it holds up. Just to wipe the smile off the spotty little fanboys faces.
Oh yeah power brick plan foiled already
At least playing it outside would keep a 360 nice and cool!
How'd he carry Xbox 360 with huge power brick? Probably is the main reason why he chose PS3.
if it was 360, the disc would probably have been scratched useless. only possible on a ps3 Hmm, that's a good point actually. Though I'm sure it'd be possible on other consoles too, such as a Wii. Though the image probably wouldn't look so good that stretched. Portable PC though anyone?
