Apart from MGS4, this was THE game I was looking forward to most, before I got my PS3. This looks freaking AMAZING!
Here's a question, if this sells extremely well...do you think this really will be the last game?
It will be the last with Kratos in cronilogical order, probably a bit like MGS4 but they could still do a spin off or another prequel but if they give this everything they have then it's probably best not to spoil it.
However, just thinking what about a game of the 12 trials of Herecules that could be sweet?
its interesting how people that slag off halo 3 and halo reach are really into this game. god of war doesnt really float my boat - not my type of game, but it seems to fit the same category as halo reach. it looks better than the previous titles in the series but still not earth shattering, the story isnt the main selling point and the gameplay principles are quite simple although enjoyable if you are into it.
its kind of remarkable how people dismiss games they personally dislike and state it like fact. god of war 1,2 and probably 3 arent the games i am into but thats not to say they are bad games, shame people dont seem to be able to say the same for halo.
I think I must be having a bit of a lull, game-wise...
These shots look decent, but you would expect them to, wouldn't you? I mean, visually you expect great things.
I dunno, I just remain unconvinced this will bring anything new to the table. Bayonetta has really raised the bar, and it's going to take more than pretty graphics to win me over.
I feel the same about Bioshock 2, despite the reviews. I'm just not convinced.
hey girls, if anyone wants a code for the demo then I got one and dont want to play it b4 release.
the art style just looks as awesome as ever and while the combat might not have evolved it is still the industry standard in hack n slash. The story will probably be good as usual and the level design will be stellar if like the previous games. These are things tht halo doesnt have pishers. + it's always cool to have a character that can be understood to an extent and has more than 2 lines of dialogue throughout the game.

I wouldn't say its interesting at all or even what GOW 3 screenshots have to do with Halo Reach. Just sounds like b******s to me.

@pishers, the story of the god of war series is the main reason I for one have a ps3 over a 360, I don't know where you got the idea that the sheer quality of the production values isn't the reason why people believe this is a great series, it is almost indeniably based around the story. For me the puzzles are also great and the introduction of beast control will bring variety to the gameplay. In summation it is Sony's gory answer to Zelda. That is the feel I get when playing these games but I'm probably going to get flamed by the anti Nintendo boys for saying so.
@yougoglencoco09: That's a fair comment- the story of Halo happens to be the reason I have a 360 (that and the fun factor)... and err... also a PS3.
I'm really enjoying Darksiders at the moment, so I think I'd enjoy this- but it's a game I can wait for when it's reduced in price a bit. I'm going to be going on a gaming spending spree at the end of the month I think.
