Earlier this week Ubisoft detailed its plans for the next 12 months and there were some notable absences in its game list, notably the ever-mysterious Beyond Good & Evil 2.
French chaps at site Gamekult managed to corner Ubisoft exec, Geoffroy Sardin and ask him exactly what's happened to the journo and pig sequel, as well as survival horror I Am Alive.
"Both are still in production," he said. Not canned, then.
Fingers crossed it will be out this year Loved the first BG&E, it was part of that great Ubisoft xmas release with XIII Prince of persia snads of times etc. So many good games at once and BG&E was sadly a victim to EA's pap line up of trendy games with big marketing budgets.
CVG...erm it wasn't the last we saw of it was it now? Do you not remember the other trailer you posted last year? You know, the one where Jade is being pursued? Caused a bit of a stir if I remember.
BG&E was one of my favourite games of the past decade. I had it on PC and I absolutely HATE playing things on a keyboard and mouse. I finished the game completely and if that doesn't speak volumes for the quality of the game I don't know what does. Bring on BG&E2, I'd even play that on a PC (although I'd like it on PS3 please )
The thing I don't understand about BG&E is that wherever I go there are absolutely tons of people who loved and played the game. Yet it sold so poorly. I suspect there was high piracy on this title and a lot more people played it than purchased it. Just a theory.
I absolutely loved this game and I cannot wait for this to arrive. Ubisoft do not let us down on this title.

That wasn't actually BG&E, though. Or if it was, Ubisoft never owned up to it.
