Namco has confirmed that the free Tekkn 6 online co-op update will be made available to download on January 18 for 360 and PS3.

The patch means that for the first time in the series, you'll be able to team up with a friend online in the Scenario Campaign mode and fight side-by-side, just like in Double Dragon.

Got to second the dig at Capcom there, but unfortunately the one about scenario mode being crap too. Still, that old saying about gift horses and mouths rings true for me.

Honest question here..

Are alot of people playing this? I heard online was very ropey and I havnt seen one person on my friends list playing it.I stopped played Tekken after number 3 and buying Namco games after the DLC scam last year.

Im waiting to see the NPD numbers for how it did in America but still wondering if many people here bought it.

Nah im too lazy for that lol, I shouda been a little clearer. When are they sorting out online VERSUS mode out? Its still so unstable.

Hey its a very good question. I bought it to really sink my teeth into the Online ranked matches and player matches but the online is so fragile that now I onply play it socially which is cool but for competitive games, I've gone back to street fighter 4.
