Sony's confirmed that PS3 exclusive Heavy Rain will be released in the UK on Friday, February 26, as CVG revealed earlier this week.
North America will receive the Quantic Dream thriller on February 23, SCE has also confirmed.
"There are a range of pre-order programs going on - these vary across each country, but will offer you a chance to get hold of either the Heavy Rain Special Edition, or specific bonus items DLC including Heavy Rain: Chronicle One - The Taxidermist," reports the PlayStation Blog. "Look out for more details on country-specific pre-order plans soon."

Where they essentially could have put it on the disc, didn't and charge extra for it.
If it's just a code or something for upcoming DLC, I guess that's ok, althoygh they could still have it ready, they could just hold it back to make it look like they created it post launch.
Also - Late Feb, that's really close! Don't most games announce atleast 3 mkonths in advance?

Very doubtful any other stores will get it if GAME exclusives are anything to go by. Surprisingly this CE is the same price as the standard edition, so I might pre-order now and cancel if the reviews put doubts in my head.

Nope, it's £55. I went and pre-ordered it on Thursday. Don't have a PS3 yet but this is the game I'm getting one for and really can't wait!

If you pre-ordered from a store, I think the sales clerk made a mistake. I just pre-ordered from the HMV website for £39.99, received the email confirmation and it was still £39.99...

Well I'll go back and check in store and if they still say it's £55 I'll cancel and pre-order it online.
