Ninety-Nine Nights II release date "spring"

Japan gets release window for hack 'n' slash sequel
Tetsuya Mizuguchi and Lost Odyssey co-developer Feelplus's sequel, Ninety-Nine Nights II, has been roughly dated in Japan for "spring".

The 360 sequel, which has been picked by Konami, is looking very much like the darker take on the hack 'n slash series we were promised at Tokyo Game Show 2008.

As for whether or not it actually gets the "more polished combat" the developer's been talking up, we'll keep our fingers crossed over the coming months. Because the original wasn't that great, was it?

The original was definitely mediocre, considering who was developing it. Hope this one turns out well.
