Notes & data source information
Note: This is the network formerly owned by Bulldog. See here for more.

Bulldog grew popular amongst enthusiasts by offering 4Mbps ADSL services on their LLU exchanges before BT Wholesale even had a 2Mbps consumer product. In 2004 Cable and Wireless purchased Bulldog and fueled Bulldog's roll-out of LLU ADSL2+ to nearly 700 exchanges. Bulldog's LLU assets are now in use by "Cable and Wireless Access", who supply ADSL2+ and SDSL wholesale products.

The Bulldog data on this site is based upon the Bulldog LLU data available at bulldogdsl.com. That said, it is believed that Cable and Wireless have now reached just over 800 exchanges, but with no retail services yet available on them, these have not yet been listed on here.

NOTE: This information pertains only to the LLU (Local Loop Unbundling) activities of Cable and Wireless. The provider may also offer broadband services using other technologies (most commonly BT Wholesale ADSL services), but this is not included on this page.

  1. Based upon implied line length, which is calculated by taking the straight line distance from the exchange to the premises and then multiplying by 1.4
