In what almost comes over as a desperate attempt to get people playing Tony Hawk's Ride, the world-famous skater has used Twitter to say he'll accept friend requests if you play his new game.
Hawk was on Xbox Live playing Ride, leaving his Gamertag ( tonyinegypt ) for those interesting in joining him. He later said anyone who plays his game would be added to his friend's list, reports Kotaku.

Well to be honest watching my bro play it and me having a quick go I actually quite enjoyed it. Ok so it might not mimic the real thing exactly but it is fresh and a first attempt at something new. It will be interesting to see where the series goes but I am all open for new and open ideas.
tony hawk must be gutted his game is doing so badly. not a surprise really, the series aint been good since american wasteland. it's more of a cash cow these days.
