Koch Media has confirmed it'll be publishing S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat in the UK on February 5.
The PC follow-up has players taking on the role of an agent in the Ukraine Security Service, sent into the Zone to collect information on a failed military operation.

A new interface, side quests and a 'free play' mode are promised for the sequel.
"We look forward to working with Koch Media and anticipate a very successful release of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Call of Pripyat", said Wolfgang Duhr, Director of bitComposer Games.
But will it be as flawed and unforgiving as the previous 2?
I liked the fact that the games don't hold your hand and make you work hard to progress. As for the bugs, it's been a while since they were released and they are in a pretty playable state by now.
Stalker:Shadow of Chernobyl has got to be one of the most s**t scary and atmospheric games I've ever played in my life.
Just started playing SoC again along with the Stalker Complete 2009 mod. It is so good. I recommend everyone to try the mod, as it has so much new content.
I hope this new one is released playable. Hopefully it will as it's been out nearly 4 months now in Germany and/or Russia.
But will it be as flawed and unforgiving as the previous 2?
My guess based on intution? Yes. Which is why I'm staying well clear of this third game until numerous professional and user reviews are in. I also want to know if the European version of this game comes with limited activations and/or other DRM just like "S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Clear Sky" did. Whether those activations were reclaimable I do not know, yet regardless it is sufficient to make me go cold turkey about a game.
Good news, the original was something else. I was able to complete it without the patches (Unlike Clear Skies) but even so, I'll hold off the purchase of this one for a week or two to see what state it's in on release. It's a definite purchase mind you.
I've never heard of that Stalker Complete 2009 mod, although I did use the Oblivion Lost mod. I'll have to have a butchers at that.
