Dark Void demo tomorrow

Try Capcom's shooter on Xbox Live and PSN
A demo of Capcom's science-fiction shooter, Dark Void will arrive on Xbox Live tomorrow, followed by PSN on Thursday, the publisher's confirmed.

"Dark Void is a blend of aerial and ground-pounding combat which centres on Will, a pilot who crash lands in the Bermuda Triangle following a routine mission," reads the official story blurb.

"Will wakes up to find himself in 'The Void,' a parallel world resembling a primitive earth, upon which aliens with superior technology are planning to take over civilisation.

"Together with a faction of humans who have also travelled into the Void, Will takes on the alien race using their own advanced technology; including the famed high-powered jet pack."

The full game is set for release across Europe on Friday, January 22. Let us know if it's any good, will you?

Hmm.. Been watching this for some time now. Could be a dark horse in the race, but it all depend on the controls, me think.

Some previews have been optimistic, others have not.

Since new and original concepts for shooters are nigh on impossible to find, it usually comes down to the'feel' and the controls of the game.

Could go either way then, thank god for free demos.

What I'm really waiting for is Just Cause2, Lost Planet2 and Splinter Cell Conviction. Maybe Heavy Rain if it turns out good.
