Dragon Age DLC coming Jan 5

Return to site of the Grey Wardens' 'Darkest Hour'
BioWare has released details on the January 5 launch of DLC for Dragon Age: Origins dubbed 'Return to Ostagar'.

The Return to Ostagar downloadable content will be released on January 5 in North America and Europe for 360 and PC for 400 BioWare Points or Microsoft Points. The DLC will be available for PS3 "later in January".

Return to Ostagar gives you the chance to "embark on a quest for the mighty arms and armor of the once great King Cailan when they revisit Ostagar, the site of the Grey Wardens' darkest hour, to reclaim the honor and learn the secrets of Ferelden's fallen king." If that means anything to anyone, tell us about it in the comments below.

"We are thrilled at the way the fans have embraced Dragon Age: Origins and we're excited to welcome them back into the game," said Aaryn Flynn, top guy at BioWare Edmonton. "Return to Ostagar represents BioWare's commitment to providing a steady stream of compelling post release content as we continue to expand the Dragon Age universe."

IIRC, that Silver Armor was lost to history when King Cailan disappeared in to exile after having been unfaithful to his queen with his closest confidant, a female warrior who fought beside him and saved him against one of his greatest opponents while fighting to unify Ferelden. I have all the other DLC for "Dragon Age" so far, yet I am unsure as to whether or not I will purchase this upcoming DLC.

persoanlly i would rather bioware focused on getting the patch out for the issues that people have for the 360 & PS3 versions.. but of course EA dont get any money from that Rolling Eyes

Could someone tell whether the Dragon Armour is for a certain character class or not. I just started playing with a rougue and it won't equip.

It doesn't have any restriction as far as I'm aware. It's not possible to equip it on any character at the beginning of the game, though, as you need to level up to a strength of 38 first. (I'm assuming you are talking about the Blood Dragon Armour BTW!) Smile

I'm disappointed that once again PS3 users are left waiting around while Xbox and PC users get the DLC first. Still, the DLC should be promising.

What i've heard & read about DASurprised so far hasn't convinced me either way... personally I think i'll wait until bioware have finished their work & the GOTY edition is released before committing 80+ hours to it.

More like 50+ hours, still a cracking game though.

Might buy, still waiting for the main event (Mass Effect 2) though. Christ, I'm going to be spoilt for choice with armour, what with the normal stuff, the Collectors edition stuff, the Play.com exclusive Terminus stuff AND the Blood Dragon armour from DA!
