Balance Board spin-off out February 12
Sega has nailed the release date for Super Monkey Ball: Step & Roll as February 12 for Europe.

The game - which has you controlling AiAi and his monkey mates around more puzzle levels - is the first series entry to use the Wii Balance Board.

Players shift their weight on the Wii Fit device to make the monkey move, but if that doesn't sound like you're idea of fun you can also use the Wii Remote and look slightly less like a plonker.

Multiplayer party games include Seesaw Ball, Red Light/Green Light and Monkey Race, reports Official Nintendo Magazine.

Am I the only one that thinks that this game ONLY worked with a conventional analog stick, like the gamecube pad?

I absolutely loved the first game and it's simple concept.
And monkey target was so simple and brilliant.

What went wrong?

Why can't you play these games with an ordinarry controller anymore?
Why not even the option?

I don't want to use the wii remote.
I want to use the nunchuk, at the least then.

What went wrong?
