PSP-4000 ad was a "mistake"

Peripheral company holds its hands up
An advert in games trade mag MCV caused a stir last when it advertised PSP peripherals that were clearly stated to be compatible with the much rumoured but unannounced PSP-4000. But it was all lies.

The ad shows a list of compatible PSP models at the bottom that clearly includes the PSP-4000.

The peripheral company responsible, Accessories4Gamers, has held its fumbling hands up saying it made a booboo. A4G rep Angela Jones has admitted it was simply "a mistake on our part", saying she didn't know how the error came to be and had no knowledge of Sony releasing a new PSP.

Publicity stunt, practical joke or someone letting the work experience boy on the keyboard?
