Microsoft's kicked off a competition to get your artwork in Crackdown 2.
Starting today, developer Ruffian Games is calling for all submissions for the Crackdown 2 in-game graffiti design contest. "Submit your best graffiti masterpieces to see if you have what it takes to help reclaim Pacific City," says MS.
Winners will see their graffiti creation featured in the crime-stopping sequel and their names in the game's end credits, it says.
Winning submissions will be announced shortly after the contest ends on Dec. 9. Do you reckon phallic scribbles would do well?
Official Rules follow:
All graffiti art must be submitted by Wednesday, Dec. 9 to be considered
All submissions must be original work
Keep it clean and tasteful. Offensive material will not be considered
Submission format: 1024 x 1024 images. Any format will be accepted, but PNG is preferred
All submissions must be sent to compo@gazaxian.com.
Entered. Goodjob I am actually a freelance designer that specializes in graffiti.. hope I get picked, be nice.
A chav?
I kid, I kid. As long as it's artistic and not defacing personal property I see no harm in making dull public buildings more attractive.
Maybe he's Banksy
Now there's an overrated artist. Anyone can pre-cut stencils using a bit of photoshop and spray paint through them in 1 minute flat. Where's the risk, I ask ya?!
would be good to sneak a bit of Banksy in there. Always nice to see other media represented in the games world. Now I may have some time to come up with a few deigns my self.... now that my xbox has broke! lame... so lame...
Pffft, me a chav? HELL NO! lol, Nah I dont just specialize in graffiti, it's just one of my styles kind of thing. I'm mostly a website design and photomanipulator these days, however its nice to crack open a style again, just for fun-sakes.
I used to be commissioned to graffiti on peoples walls inside their homes, ..those were the good days.
They should get TOX in from London to do some, pretty basic tagging but they’d be all over Pacific City in days. He is the most prolific tagger ever, I’ve seen TOX 97 through to TOX 09 all over London, and one day I happened to switch onto The Tube (god knows why) and saw when they caught him a couple of years back…still didn’t stop him though!
