Splinter Cell Conviction has co-op, "new mode"

Reveal planned next month, says PC Zone
The first concrete details on Splinter Cell Conviction's multiplayer mode are in, via the back page of the latest issue of PC Zone magazine.

According to the mag, its next issue will include "hands-on, co-op reveal and a brand new mode." And that's it.

Of course it's not the first time the series has included co-op; the original Xbox's Chaos Theory featured Xbox Live spy collaboration missions, while Splinter Cell's trademark mercs vs. spies multiplayer was very much a team game.

The Splinter Cell issue of PC Zone is out on December 23. You can buy the current issue - which includes the latest hands-on with BioShock 2 - online and have it delivered to your door.

Always a good feature for any game, if done correctly. From what this game has to offer thus far, I'm sure they'll pull this off. Nice one Wink

Bound to be brilliant. Loved the co-op in Chaos Theory, and the way it tied in to the main game.

Only problem is when you're not playing with mates, people can be awfully harsh to a noobs, and others just p**s around.

Hmmm, same problems as any other multiplayer game then lol.
