2 million used Xbox Live Facebook

And 1.7m have watched a video on Zune, claims MS
At least 2 million Xbox Live users have logged into their Facebook accounts through Xbox 360 since it launched last week, Microsoft claims. That's 10% of all Xbox Live users.

The impressive statistics, given to Cnet by Microsoft spokesman David Dennis, show that while Facebook has had the biggest adoption out of Xbox Live's new social network features, in its first 24 hours more than half a million accounts were created for Last.FM.

Xbox Live users have streamed 120 million minutes of music through the service, says Microsoft, while a massive 1.7 million Xbox live users have watched a video on Zune Marketplace.

The statistics don't address how many Xbox Live users have used the Xbox Live's Twitter feature, except to say that there have been "tweets from nearly every market where we have Xbox Live."

I'm one of the new Last.FM subscribers (had never heard of it before), a fantastic service and easily the highlight of the update. Almost, worth the Live subscription alone. Very Happy

they are very good apps but I feel that the Facebook app is very limited in what you can do. MS needs to listen to the feedback from the preview it gave out and really start to intergrate a lot more features in it. It too basic at the moment! Last FM suprised me. Didnt know too musch about this app but it is the one I use the most! Twitter is just twitter. It basically does wha the 'box' says. You twitter! lol

I've used them all and even though I've been using Last FM for months, it's still impressive. The Zune store is lacking in content, but I set up an American Live account and it is packed out! I recommend others go through the minor hassle if they want the latest tv shows and movies.

Do US videos/movies etc. now work over here then since the Zune update? Because all the videos (including the ones we have as well) at least used to be restricted.

After a month only 1000 will use it after novelty wears down.

Yeah, thats the problem I have with US content. I've gone throught he hassle of setting up an account but whenever I try to d/l a video of a tv show or trailer of a new movie it always says this content is unavailable in your region.

Game trailers work fine, but anything involving TV or film is a no go Sad

has anyone streamed a HD movie from Zune? I am currently hesitant in case it starts stuttering or buffering part way through the film.

There's a 3-minute clip of Avatar up now which is a good way to test the HD streaming. Also, try the videos on Halo Waypoint - they stream HD via Silverlight, same as Zune. Don't be offput if it starts out SD - it does increase.

Not sure, as I haven't tried yet! I'll try and watch the pilot for V tonight, so fingers crossed it's not restricted still...

Before you start streaming, it will test your line and tell you the best streaming rate possible.

As said, Avatar 3 min clip is a good way to test.

I had instant 1080p.

Last FM is really good, the large selection of music impressed me.

So since I logged into FB on LIVE, looked it over for 1 minute, figured out if was lame and logged off I gues I'm part of that 10%? Celebrate MS! Last FM is much cooler/useful than the FB ap.
