Dragon Age: Origins DLC revealed

RPG 'secret' comes out in the form of new add-on 'Return To Ostagar'
BioWare yesterday teased ardent Dragon Agers with the announcement that "something cool" was on the horizon. Well, we can finally reveal that that piece of impending coolness is - it's a new downloadable add-on, set to release over the winter period.

Entitled 'Return To Ostagar', this inevitably tasty chapter summons players to the "fateful battleground in Ostagar where the Grey Wardens were nearly wiped out".

You'll get to discover "King Cailan's top-secret political agenda" and leap daringly "behind enemy lines to revisit a place that many feared had been lost to history".

Sounds a bit like a night out in Romford, to us.

'Return To Ostagar' will cost £3.99 on the PlayStation Store, 400 BioWare Points on the PC and 400 Microsoft Points on the Xbox 360. Bargain.

Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay.

Still not quite sure on my final thoughts on DA (after about 100 hours!)

I think it's better than Fable 2, free-er than Mass Effect, and more plotty than Oblivion, but there are elements of all three of those titles that I felt they did better.

Maybe its becauser I'm older and more bitter/expectations are higher but it didn't quite light me up like BG2 or Planescape. Which is not a criticism as such.

Overall still think its a fantastic game and am looking forward to DLC. Bit of a hors d'oeurve to Mass Effect 2. Hope to be playing both for some time to come.

And hey, let the PS3 guys in on the ME2 party. If they ask nicely. And if the PS3 gets any sort of "improved" edition of ME1 (in the ME2 engine?), then they need to release that on PC and 360 too - cross platform could actually pay off for everyone! Mass Effect: Trilogy edition anyone? Wink

Its nice to read positive comments rather than PS3 rules OK or Xbox360 rules OK.

That said PC does rule OK. Only joking Very Happy
