Square has revealed two new character classes for next year's MMO venture Final Fantasy XIV; Gladiators and Pugilists.
The Gladiators are "expert swordsmen, known for their battle prowess with blades of all designs," according to the official site. "They favour combat at close range, where they masterfully execute a deadly array of hacks and slashes."

Pugilists are more about close-quarters, hand-to-hand combat. "Some have become so adept at this manoeuvring that that they are able to negate the reach advantages of even the longest blade or spear," it says, showing off range of knuckle duster-like weapons. They're thugs, basically.
