BioWare co-founders Dr. Ray Muzyka and Dr. Greg Zeschuk will be hosting a live chat on the PS Blog later tonight, in which they promise to reveal the surprise.
"After the announcement, they will be answering questions along with the Lead Designer Mike Laidlaw and Executive Producer Mark Darrah about BioWare's New Dark Fantasy Epic Dragon Age: Origins," explains the official site.
I've got this pre-ordered for the 360 so i can get the Dragon Armour unlocked in Mass Effect 2. I just hope this PS3 announcement doesn't make me change my mind about which version to get. If its just another bonus DLC mission i think i'll just keep the 360 one ordered as these will probably just be released on 360 at a later date.

"ensabahnur" I thought the dragon armour was included as download content inside all new copies of both Dragon Age and Mass Effect so to try and persude people to buy new copies, Its how developers are trying to tackle the 2nd hand market as they do not make any profit from it, much like Turn 10 have done with Forza 3. I may be wrong but thats how I understood it... Anyone clarify that?
For a game that's apparently 80+ hours long anyway, a extra bit of DLC (if that's the case) won't make me change my order. I'll stick with the 360 version.

I was under the impression that the Dragon Armour would be unlockable in ME2 by having a Dragon Age save file. Does anyone know what the real deal is here?

You're correct. You need to have both games to get the armour.

As far as I'm aware the main incentive to buy a new copy is the "Stone Prisoner" DLC which is free to download for everyone who buys the game new, but will cost a fee for anyone who buys the game second-hand. The DLC involves a quest to free a Dwarven War Golem called "Shale" who then becomes one of your most powerful companion NPCs.
As I understand it, the Blood Dragon Armour is included for DA when you buy that. You don't get it in ME:2 unless you have bought DA, but it works in both games if you have the DA save file (on PC and 360 - presumably you still get it in DA on the PS3 and would eventually get it in ME:2 if that ever gets released on PS3).
It'd better not be something "great" for the PS3 version as this is the only version I definitely *won't* be buying!
my guess is either mouse and keyboard support or Home space. i'm still deep in Demon's Souls, so i'll have plenty of time to decide which version to get between the PS3 and 360 either way.
It's the PS3 version is being released at the same time as the PC/360 version. I'm still waiting for the excitment to kick in.
Oh..wow...no wonder CVG didn't bother adding it as a news story at 7pm. Thanks for the info voodoo, I'm also off to lie down after all that excitement.
Well atrimus, I fear I shall have to find something else to milk my love teat to.
Ach. Sod it.
I'll just have some naughty time with UC2, chuck some money on the pillow and head back to the PC and 360 to live out my mutually appreciative bigamist, orgitastic marriage and fulfilling everyday life...
you have to admit that's a kick in the balls for PS3 players that their exclusive news is that they are getting it on the same day as 360 and PC users..or at least North American PS3 players will receive it on the same day as 360 and PC users...they haven't mentioned Europe yet
Exclusive news? I'll think you'll find the words they used are exciting news. Obviously more exciting for them than anyone with a PS3. Clearly you feel threatened by that for some bizarre reason though.

wtf are you talking about? and why are you singling me out when the whole thread say the same thing?
okay its a kick in the balls for PS3 players when their 'exciting' news is that the game will be released on the same day as the PC and 360 versions
exciting and exclusive mix up was mine, obviously a mix up,how can it be exclusive
why do you think that i feel threatened?,or are you one of these snooker cues who start s**t on forums for no reason?

Really? The whole thread before you has said it's exclusive and it's a kick in the balls to PS3 owners. Must be something wrong with my monitor, I thought no one actually cared.
well,i don't get what you are going on about...you were actually the first person to say it that you are waiting for the excitement to kick in...so if i am agreeing with you,why are you saying that i feel threatened by it?
Yeah that's right Paraspaz, I'm so excited I've been keeping an eye on this article in the small hours of Sunday morning just waiting for CVG to update it.
