The world's first review of Assassin's Creed 2 is in, earning a nine out of ten in the latest issue of Official Xbox Magazine.
"OXM's Mike Channell was the first non-Ubisoft person in the world to complete the game," reads the OXM website, "and he was impressed."
According to them the second game "addresses nearly all the gripes we had with the original game, including all that artificial flag-collecting nonsense, and delivers a brilliant single-player experience that's built around a cracking story."

Really enjoyed the first one (though after I gave it second chance, at first try I wasn't impressed and put it away), so good to know they managed to fix issues from the first one, the end of this year is gonna be great, first Uncharted 2 and Brutal Legend, then Dragon Age, GoW collection and AC2, I just wished the stores over here had Demon's Souls, but still nothing.
Great, loved the first one (apart from the repetition), so I'll be picking this up. It's also good that it's one of the few games out at the end of the year that isn't soley focused on shooting people in the face (nothing wrong with that, it just happens a lot).

I agree with you there, it is an absolutley fantastic game! i imported mine for Ł37 in total from www.hkofferhouse.com quite surprised at the high level of service and it was in complete english, except the box of course. Can't wait for Dragon Age either looks class.
I hope this game does live up to its otential though, and going on the review score and summary - i might have to pick this up.

As for AC 2 looking forward to it as it gets rid of most of the originals shortcomings by the sounds of it.
