Darksiders penned for 2010

THQ has confirmed that its God of War-alike, Darksiders: Wrath of War, will release in Europe on January 7, 2010 and North America on January 5.

Set in a future where an apocalypse has torn the world apart (when hasn't it?), the game casts you as one of the four horsemen of the apocalypse, "War", who's out to throw more punches than a disgruntled Leona Lewis fan.

The first bit should be easy at least, because Joe Madureira, legendary comic book artist and writer best known for his work on the Uncanny X-Men and Battle Chasers series, in lending his artistic brush to the game.
