Madden coming to XBLA, PSN

Electronic Arts is brining a trimmed down version of its monster NFL game to PSN and XBLA, simply called Madden NFL Arcade.

There are 32 NFL teams to play as, each with their own stadiums. Rules are that each team is given four downs to get 60 yards. No penalties or field goals allowed. Check out a bunch of screens below. The 360 version will go for 1200 MS points, which should make the PSM version around £10.

Marketing man Nathan Stewart said, "We have diehard Madden fans who have worked on the franchise for a decade, and more casual gamers who are all playing together and enjoying it. If our productivity the past few weeks is any indication, we've created a game that everyone will love."
