Need for Speed Nitro dated

Wii and DS versions coming early November
EA has told us that Need for Speed Nitro has gone gold (which basically meaning it's all finished now) and will be in shops from November 6.

"Developed specifically for the Wii and Nintendo DS, Need for Speed Nitro captures the fun and exhilaration of arcade racing, thrusting players into a world of blazing speed where they must dominate the competition at 200mph," says EA. You can make up your own minds in a few weeks.

watching that gave me a headache!
whats with the stupid motion blur effect around the edges of the screen? makes the game look rough as f**k!!!

Don't agree with all of the above. - I think it looks alright, in a cartoony, stylised kind of way. - Not every racing game on the market has to have full-on ultra realistic graphics, and thank God for that.

At least it's apparently 60 FPS, which is more than can be said for most HD games.

Probably won't buy though. Why bother when you can play GameCube's Burnout 2 on your Wii?

Nah looks like trash, does make me want a Burnout on Wii though, a port even of Burnout 3 or Revenge would suffice.

I think it looks mint good sense of speed, Sick of playing racing games where it feels like your goin 10mph. shame that theirs no online play tho

The scenery looks a hell of a lot better than it did in the past 7 Need for Speed games. Kinda reminds me of NFS 3, but with nitros boost.

Looks a bit like outrun 2 on steroids. The manic gameplay may be ok though if you end up whipping around the corners like a mainiac. These vids are not the best quality though. I really need to see it on a proper TV to make a real judgement on the graphics. They do have a certain style to them though.
