Here's a new trailer for F1 2009 in which two full grown men on a sofa play argy-bargy with each other in some colourful alternate world from the stone-faced, swear word-filled reality that two geezers playing a racing game would be.

i guess they do look a little better, nothing drastic. although i guess the earlier shots might have been the PSP version. Anyway i wonder how it plays, F1 driving games should feel precise in their steering, i'm not how this can be properly achieved with the wheel, there must be another control scheme right? Also yet another wii wheel, only really worth it if it's not just a shell and has some extra buttons, but that won't happen.
The ps2 f1 games looked better grapics wise, even the psp games out a few years ago looked as good. codies once again doing their best to ruin decent racing franchises. im waiting for dave mirra to be included in the 360 and ps3 version next year!!!!
That is thye worst advertising for anything (never mind a game) that I have ever seen. You're supposed to SELL the product. I hope F1 2010 for the 360 etc will be promoted and I obviously expect it to look better.
It looks like this was filmed when the BBC 5 live crew got a chance to play test the Codemasters F1 game, and then they used the fottage to make the commercial.
Oh, and C&VG, aside from a bit of laughter, the voices of Croft and Davidson were removed from the soundtrack, so you don't really get to see or hear if it would have been the typical swear fest that most gaming sessions turn into. I do often wonder how some of you people become journalists when you can't even spot something as simple as that.
