The 250GB PS3 will go on sale in the US on November 3, Sony has confirmed.
The bigger hard drive will come crammed into the same Slim console currently available, so no other changes, except for the price of course, which'll sit at $349.99.

Unless I have misread this or I have totally lost my mind but the 250GB PS3 come out about 3-4 weeks ago. The GAME I work in has been selling it for Ł285 while the 120 GB is still Ł250.

give CVG a break. we've known for years they're behind with their news by about 2-3 weeks. thats when they're not ripping it directly from kotaku or their videos from gametrailers.
Pretty much every major site I visit has run this story, so I', not sure why you guys are having a pop at CVG.
Gamespot remembered to say that the console was already out in the UK where as this site have gone to Sony for the UK release. I think it is fair to have a pop at them for this one.

Well, the news they posted on the Twitter/Facebook beta was pretty fast considering most news sites posted about it in the afternoon/evening whereas CVG posted it in the morning. So they're not always that bad.
whilst i agree that CVG is neither the best for the latest news, they clearly state that the 250GB is on sale in the uk. They just seem to be informing us that is set to go on sale now in the US
