This does beg a question though. If 2d graphics that good are doable on the wii why isn't there going to be a wii version of braid?

Weird, a friend of mine was banging on about the NES original a couple of weeks back after playing The Maw, which he felt was in some way a spiritual sequel.

I love the artwork in those shots. This is one of the things that I miss about 2D gaming. I still look at Yoshis island in awe of the artwork.

I hope this game turns out to be as good as it looks.

The original was great - I can still remember the theme tune too, hope they remember to add that to the remake.
