Microsoft has detailed the Games On Demand you'll be seeing pop up on Xbox Live throughout October, which is great news for those of us who can't be arsed to walk down the shops.
So we've already had Call of Duty 3 and Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas 2 this month but the best is yet to come (Dead Space).
October 13: Grand Theft Auto IV October 20: Midnight Club Los Angeles, Army of Two, Sonic Unleashed October 27: Dead Space, DiRT

I'd happily rebuy Dead Space as a download... but there's no way I'm paying Ł20 for it. As for Sonic Unleashed... anything above 35p would be a complete rip off.
I'm curios as too how much money Microsoft are making from this. Do many people use it? I for one will always much prefer buying on disc for the resale value.
With the PSPgo, at least I can see the point of that in that you can take more games around with you without all the crap and clutter, whereas on a home console, it really isn't too much hastle having hard copies.
I think if they really want GOD to take off, they should cost a Ł10er, as spening 10 pounds requires less umming and aring than say, Ł20 or Ł30.

If they did the sort of offer you get on steam and sold GTAIV PLUS TLAD and TBOGT for Ł25-30 then they'd sell millions.
Of course they wouldn't do that, at least not until a significant amount of time has passed since EfLC has been released... Or the PS3 gets the episodes and MS needs to offer a different USP.
And who (well maybe goths)would (oh, and Emos) BUY (Ah and zombie fans) halloween crap for avatars?
As others have said, it would be interesting to see the numbers that MS are getting through Games on Demand, I think we would all be surprised.
I wouldn't be surprised to see the number of dimwits, who live on Earth, tbh. MS caters for them well.
You’re very grumpy today, with all your ire directed toward any Microsoft related story, did your Xbox break?
Don't ask....
I already did! Come on, share, it'll make you feel better...
Nothing console related, my friend. I have an 8 month old girl. She is teething. I sleep little. My patience is at a low ebb.
I'd probably ignore everything that I write for the next 21 years.
ZZZzzzz....
give her 2.5ml calpol and one of those jelly type toys designed for just the job. that should do the trick.
yours sincerely, Dr shellster
Ill throw in my tuppence worth .
A dummy coated in whisky should do the trick, thats what my Mum did and it never did me any harm (I say with the shakes, desperate for work to finish so I can get to get to the pub), no harm at all .

Thanks Doc.
Those do help a great deal, but she is still a bugger for waking up constantly. It's worse when she wakes at 3:00am, full of beans and wanting to play! I couldn't imagine the amount of times I've sang rock a by baby with tears of pure sorrow in my eyes......

Maybe I just need a spare bed.....
hang in there fella. it gets better believe me. my little monster is 20 months now. you're right about the spare bed. or just kip on the sofa, that way if you wake up you can play more games. try giving her a little woolen blanket, they love that sort of thing. my daughter has about a dozen of them, never hear a peep out of her.

I think I'll go out this weekend and buy half a dozen of those blankets!
I must admit that it is comforting to know that others have/are going through the same torment/joy as I am.
Not sure about StonecoldMC's advice though... She looks like a gin and tonic girl to me.

Don't believe any of them. My little monsters are 12 and 10, and believe me, it doesn't get any better. There's always something that will get in the way, or trouble them, or something they want.

Ah, teething troubles...! Calpol is a miracle worker but it can't cure EVERYTHING...
No, what you need to do is keep sleeping and let the WAG deal with it... Joking! Good luck mate!
