anti-climatic for me. usual bulls**t of paying some douche to spout lines of crap that mean nothing in the hope it will hype the game.
as already pointed out numorous times, this is MW 1.5. Looks ok, but as someone who only enjoys the campaign mode, i wont be getting this -will just borrow it off of someone in 6 months time for weekend to polish of the usual 10 hour campaign.
could not give less of a s**t about this game if i was constipated.
glad to see that the terrorists have truly d!cked over america though. bout time there was a game based in its home nation being done over instead of going into others and doing the same stereotype.
The pre-rendered graphics look amazing, as do the real time in game graphics. I personally can't waot for this..i love both the single player and the multiplayer.
ahhahahahaha noone cares if you'll buy it or not; shut up and go moan to your mother as IW wont listen to ur gripes mate. MILLIONS of people will be enjoying and playing this game, while you and the small minority will be wanking off over BF2 and moaning at each other where everyone is! get involved or stop moaning, noone wants to hear you jive about about a game they are all going to enjoy!

pre-rendered? there's no pre-render in that. they dont need to, the game engine looks great. there was no pre-rendering last time round, what makes you think this has it?
I for one loved the 1st game, mainly due to the gripping Clancy-esque story. The look and control of the game was ace as well.
While i'm really excited for this and will probably be frustrated at having to sell copies of it at midnight on Nov 10th rather than play it, I'm a little concerned that they are going too "hollywood" with the action.
The first game, while having awesome set pieces did give me the impression that this was stuff grounded in reality rather than having a blockbuster attack on washington etc.
Its going to be interesting to see how this pans out....
Oh and of course the multiplayer will probably be awful
Looks really good and has got me properly excited!
But I agree, this voiceover stuff that IF do is quite pretentious. Also, just me or does anyone else think the start of the music sounds like that from the trailer of 300? Also +1, I've said for a while now that I think Modern Warfare is moving towards what Goldeneye was in some ways, and away from the typical CoD formula (power boats, snow mobiles?) and this trailer just convinces me more. Not that it's a bad thing.
Sweet looking video, IMO! Very much looking forward to receiving my pre-ordered PC copy! CoD4 is quite possibly one of the best, if not the best, FPS experience I've had to date. The bar has been set high by IW and I fully expect them to be able to meet it, and perhaps even surpass it.
Looks like Washington D.C. was hit by a nuclear weapon and the White House has been occupied by hostile forces. That does of course raise at least one issue: radiation. I suppose a very, very large conventional bomb (or several bombs) could have been triggered around the D.C. area to create a similar effect without the radiation, but I doubt that's the path IW have chosen given what happened in the CoD4 and the perceived desire to impress with over-the-top story mechanics. I can hardly wait to get my hands on this!

Dont want to put a downer on your washington theory but if it had been nuked there would be NOTHING standing! Certainly looks like its been under rocket and gunship fire however.

Theres just no pleasing some people
i thought cod4 was great. not really a fan of the multiplayer as i found the maps too small and it was spray and shoot with higher ranked people getting better weapons -not really my thing as i prefer it even for everyone.
as i said massive fan of the campaign in any shape or form, but from what ive read so far its just going to be a 10 hour affair. i might as well just rent it for a couple of quid overnight and clock it in one go.
Though i cant really picture me buying this, i'm looking forward to play a quick mission in the campain at a friend or something.
Well... Another reason i can't picture myself buying this is because i have a wii and an outdated pc... Yes it's true. sob*... Please exuse me.. i have to go and play battlefield 1942... relased all back in 2002...

Shame the PC version has supposedly been delayed by a fortnight.
