Alpha Protocol's seemingly inevitable delay to 2010 came one step closer to confirmation last night, when Sega's official US website changed the RPG's date to "spring 2010".
Expectedly, Sega's since pulled the 2010 date (it's now back to "October 2009") and when contacted Sega UK delivered CVG the obligatory "no comment" on the slip. Just tell us, Sega! It's not coming out this month, is it?!

It's not the first denial from Sega in the last fortnight either: last week it dished out a "no comment" when various retailers switched the Obsidian RPG to 2010 on their listings.
You may also remember the game being named and shamed in a recent Sega/Sony leak, which might have something to do with the delay. If it's real. Which it is, blatantly.
I wish Obsidian didn't have such bad luck with publishers. I think this has KOTOR 2 written all over it. Great potential, spoiled by behind-the-scenes incompetence. I hope this game proves to be an absolute corker because it could be a great franchise.
Well I for one wouldn't mind, I pre-ordered Uncharted 2 and Brutal Legend, so that's it for this month, my wallet hurts now.
I don't mind a delay, I just really hope Alpha Protocol will be great. Obsidian had bad luck with Kotor2 (though I loved that game even in it's unfinished and bugged version almost as much as the first Kotor, it was a lot deeper than first Kotor and had bigger replayability imo, I liked even a bit more than Mass Effect)
i couldn't have loved KOTOR 2 much more, it and KOTOR 1 are some of my favourite games ever, i much prefered them over mass effect (which in its self was awsome). I hope this, supposed, delay of alpha protocol means they can maybe make the game free roam, would be a good way to spend their time.
Goin back to KOTOR i am annoyed that bioware are making SWTOR a MMOPRG as i can not be bothered to be sucked in to one such game,(and plus i refuse on pure principals, at paying monthly). But good look OBSIDIAN
