The first Forza Motorsport 3 review is in, and it's a score of 19/20 in the French Official Xbox Magazine.
The French mag calls the Turn 10 racer a combination of "beauty, luxury, calm and technology," and it says after ten hours behind the wheel you'll feel like you've "barely scratched the surface".

I'm not swayed by official magazines myself, but having played the demo I must say I thought it was fantastic- in a generation that is chock full of racers, Forza 3 felt refreshing and cut a descent balance between realistic simulation and fun. I've been splashing my cash far too much over the past couple of months... looks like the trend is set to continue.
i think the demo is great. the new style presentation is way easier on the eye. i woulnd't trust an official mag as far as i could throw it (shaped into an aeroplane that could be quite far).
Hopefully we will have some reviews that don't need to be translated, in the next week or two. I'm much more interested in reading about how the career mode pans out. It was a bit of a drab experience in Forza 2, so hopefully things have changed for the better.
To me, the in-car view is a massive boost. Forza 2 seriously lacked it, especially after playing PGR 3.
I hope for an addictive quality to the game. A good, stern challenge is what ticks my box.
Well at least I given these "big titles" a try more than I can say for some people that just tuck straight into games with out knowing what they are talking about.
i agree... PGR3 made in-car view a must nowadays. nice one bizarre.
How to expose yourself as a young child that has barely played any driving games....
I'd say that 'Revs' on the BBC Micro made the in-car view a must.
What's the point in playing a 'driving' game if you're 10 foot behind the car and 15 feet above it? You might as well be controlling a vehicle in a strategy game..eg a tank in C&C.
marks out of 20??..who in the right mind....oh,its the French!! ...nearly as Crazy as the Japanese Famitsu marks out of 40,LOL
gimme the old 100 percenter anyday!!
But Famitsu is four people reviewing the game out of 10 to get a more balanced final score, too often you see games slagged off in reveiws because the writer hates that genre of games.
I'd rather see games reveiwed by 2 or 3 people to avoid any of that, even a second opinion box would be nice to get a view from someone else who has played the game, either agreeing with the review or offering a different view of points which have either been lagged off or praised.
