It contains four detail-packed maps, four competitive multiplayer modes and two co-op modes to give you a taste of working with other players Uncharted 2-style.

I've played a few games and really enjoyed it, but I don't want to get into it properly until I get the full game. However, it plays really well and I'd recommend others to give it a go, especially fans of Gears online.

I've not been able to download the MAG beta cause its doing the same thing. Got to 81% after about 3 hours of downloading last night and wouldn't download anymore, just stuck at 81% for another hour. And that was my 2nd attempt, bloody beta will be over by the time i gets on there.
This game does look awesome it must be said. And I like the look of multiplayer- though if you're scrambling up a wall are you not just going to get shot in the backside? Still, it looks stunning!
I just downloaded this for my sister on her ps3 over a wireless network and it took 20 just minutes I dont know why people get off bitching and blaming the service. I only have a 6.5mb connection.
For those of you downloading the MAG beta and it gets stuck on 80% (ish) simply press the ps button, quit the game, then open the MAG beta up again, it should either install the game or download the rest extremely quickly.
Not so sure this would work with the Uncharted beta, I'll let you guys know.
well i've successfully got the MAG demo, and then found the stupidly massive update that took as look as the actual download only to find every game i have actually managed to join crashes the PS3 so not had a chance to test it out!
on the Uncharted front, its taking its usual age to download so far... bit of a p**s take if u ask me
well i hav 50 meg, and its always s**te connecting to PSN my PC connection is fast and my xbox is fast... the difference has got to be PSN no other reason, all are wired connections so no wifi loss. I'm begining to actually believe Sony use Talk Talk and get the free 2meg broadband for their servers
Took me about 40 mins to DL. Love the multiplayer and played co-op with a mate and that was great too. Really looking forward to this. Sadly it has stopped me goin into university today and may hinder my workload.
i only downloaded it today however,took me 20 minutes,wasn't bad
I like the demo,you can save the multiplayer videos(your matches)to your PS3 Hard drive,and take photos etc from your matches..been done before,but its still good to see it included

Cheers, i'll give that a try tonight. Tried to download it last wednesday and it only got to about 31% after 6 hours and tried it for a second time last night and got to 81% and it stopped so i just turned it off about midnight. Better be bloody worth it after all this time downloading.
Mind you do i try that or go for the Uncharted demo? The last beta was excellent so i may just go for that.
Yeah its most likely their internet being slow but its more fun to slag off the system and a free service. seeing as a bigger majority of us had it pretty quick and just a few sluggish. Yet I wasn't slagging XBL for taking 50 mins to download the forzkin 3 demo.
Well BT say my phone line has been fixed now, so hopefully I'll get to download this tonight.

I've got a headset which I bought a good 12 months before the PS3 which I use for Skype and whatnot... it was a lovely surprise when I realised I'd have to buy another one if I wanted to use one with the PS3, as that one isn't compatible with it.
This demo's brilliant but the matchmaking on PSN is taking at least five minutes in between each match.
Live is sooooooo much faster!!!!!
try backing out and going straight back in,takes me about 30 seconds then...it works for other people as well on the PS3 forums,BUT some have said that it doesn't make any difference
all i know is it works for me when i do that

Got this last night... anyone else having problems finding games? It reckoned that there were 6000+ people online, but I managed to find one game, spent another 25 minutes looking for games before quitting and going back to COD4 :/
From the one game I played it seemed... alright? A bit sluggish (maybe it would do immediatly after COD), the movement was nice, but the guns lacked any presence.
I'll give it another go if I can find someone to play it with me but so far not hugely excited, by the MP experience at least.

Yeah, I've had the same problem a few times. It tells me there's 14,000+ people online but it can't seem to find anyone for me to play with! Hopefully this'll be sorted with the game proper.
It's been so long since I've played online games, I'd forgotten about the prattling teenagers with their headsets. MUTE ALL! That said, would be great to team up with a few mates and wreak havoc
