Here's an in-game clip of F1 2009, more specifically the Singapore Grand Prix, famed for being the first F1 race event held under the darkness of night.
F1 2009 for Wii and PSP will be Codemasters' first F1 game since it acquired the official licence after Sony, to be followed up by F1 2010 next year on the beefier of current-gen consoles.

Ouch. That's just horrible. The fact is that even mobile computers aka smart phones kick Wii's but in terms of processing power. N900 could easily run this game.

If it's PSP I'm interested. Although doesn't look anywhere near as good as GT PSP
Great now we have retards comparing GT to Formula One, ..sorry but I don't recall GT having Formula One cars in it?, I thought it was just manufactured cars?, ..f**king retards comparing games that are not even in the same categorys within the genre.. wtf.
An F1 game is something I have sadly been missing hugely since my last gen cons got canned for a 360...after all the excitement and anticipation, I am totally bemused as to why they are releasing on wii etc.. a likely 8-10 months before they produce a decent HD fully fledged version.
I can only assume it has something to do with the timing of the rights being granted, maybe FOM dictated they release something this year, and codies managed to get away with this slap dash effort in standard def.
This game when it hits serious consoles will be great, I cannot wait for full grand prix length on-line races..
Also.. I dont think he was comparing gt cars to f1 cars m8, I think he was just comparing psp games..

Of course they're comparable, they're racing games. Next you'll be saying that Fifa and PES are in different categories.

Well that is not true at all.
If I were you I wouldn't be so sure about that.
It's almost like that laughable claim that the iphone was more powerful than the Wii.
All it took was two screenshots of the respective versions of RE4 to put that stupid theory to bed.

If I were you I would not be making myself look idiotic by posting on forums.

Clearing misunderstood me, Genre = Racing Games, CATEGORY'S = in terms of how the game plays out, ..how can a formula one game that is aimed at high-speed racing, compare against a game that has stock/manufactured cars going 180mph-max.. slightly more?
come on now.. they just dont compare, ..obviously they do because they are both racing.. blahblah, ..but realistically a F1 game against a stock game?, Formula One has been out of console games for a long while now, and as soon as its back, we get retards trying to compare it against a manufac-racer.. wtf.
Surely this is the Wii game as the trailer ends with them advertising the Wii bundle with the steering wheel.
Anyway, people need to get over this standard def/high def topic it's the TV's that are HD not the games, you can play any ps3/360 game on a standard TV and the only difference is in picture quality. We knew the wii would be what it is since before the launch so to slate every game on wii for not having comparable graphics to ps3/360 is just plain stupid.
In the end it's the game play that matter's most I think some people need to think before they type this looks graphically improved over the ps2 game look at this example(it's the most recent I could find if your wondering) http://www.videogamer.com/ps2/f1_06/screenshot-15.html
So the Wii isn't up there with PS3/XBOX in terms of graphics guess what??? Get over it.
It's a racing game which means it'll either be an arcadey one, or a 'realistic' one. Just because you can acclerate so much faster and brake so much later doesn't change much at all. You just drive around the tracks slightly differently. And please don't call me a retard.
