Beta sign-ups for BioWare Star Wars MMO, The Old Republic have officially opened. Go on then, put your name down.
"We are excited to announce that we are now collecting information for those interested in applying for the opportunity to test Star Wars: The Old Republic," says the developer. "Our goal is to get feedback to help us make the best game that we can.
"We will be selecting testers from the Star Wars: The Old Republic community based on various requirements such as systems specifications, age, and region," it adds.

Damn thing don't bloody work! Keeps throwing me back to the first page after I submit the hardware scan.
It's f**ked. You need to click on the box and press tab so you can get down to the submit button when it's finished scanning your system. That site is screwed up really bad.
What will happen is once you get past all the sign up questions etc you'll have to wait for the email, whih will take a bit of time, i had to wait about a hour for it, mainly becuasethe system on the site is getting hit with thousands of people all wanting to sign up.
Just need to be patient, you all will get it, but the confirmation emails, password reset emaisl etc are going to take a litle longer then we are all use too jsut because of alll the people signing up.
Finally got to sign up. My god, tried like 10 times last night then gave up. I get that the site is being hit alot but its a total mess as well. Wouldnt even display right in opera and even in explorer it looked weird in places. How did they f**k that up? anyway, hope I get on. Anyway glad to see it wasnt just me and if you tried before and it failed try again now. Im also in for star trek beta
