Super Street Fighter IV gameplay video

See the new characters in action inside
The first Super Street Fighter IV footage has emerged, via Korean website Ruliweb.

The video shows two of the retail game's eight new characters; T. Hawk (of Super Street Fighter II fame) and Juri, a Korean fighter who uses Tae Kwon Do and an extensive array of kicks to come out on top.

It's due on consoles early next year. Read more in our Super Street Fighter IV details story.

Is this going to be DLC for SF4?

Is this going to be DLC for SF4?

No, it's coming out on disc as a stand alone product but at a reduced price. If it had just been Deejay, T Hawk and Juri then it would be a bit of a ripoff whatever the price but if it has at least eight extra characters and several other additions hopefully including new stages and game modes then I'll definitely pick it up if its £20-£30. Love SF4 and there's no better reason to own a couple of horis.

i grew up on d-pad never really played at the arcades do fightsticks really improve your game and for someone who mains fei long and vega will a fight-stick, fight-pad or dual shock be more beneficial?

I love SF4 and almost religiously play it every day and like you I was brought up playing SF2 on the Snes with the Dpad. To cut a long story short I decided to treat myself and bought a Hori Fightstick for my birthday but I just couldn't get used to using it! I was online battles ratio went down and after 2 weeks conceded that I am too old to change controller and reverted back to Dpad!! Everyone is different though and my Bro in law swears by it!!

Get a stick.
It'll feel awkward at first if you're not used to it but stick with it. And resist the temptation to keep switching back to pad now and again to make yourself feel better cos it'll screw up your transition.
Once you've used it for a week or so you'll never look back.

I bought a tournament stick and after a month I still couldn't get used to it. I appreciate that it is the better input, but I'm so used to control pads that I decided to stick with them. Bada boom, I thankyou. Very Happy
